apt-cacher-ng software package provides caching proxy server for software repositories, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install apt-cacher-ng
apt-cacher-ng is installed in your system.
Make ensure the apt-cacher-ng package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep apt-cacher-ng *
You will get with apt-cacher-ng package name, version, architecture and description in a table
